Medical Reserve Corps logoThe Johnson County Medical Reserve Corps is a group of volunteers that is able to assist Johnson County’s health care system by providing additional staff during emergency operations, and preparedness activities. It is open to both medial and non-medical volunteers, and anyone over the age of 18 can join.

Johnson County Medical Reserve Corps strives to provide a meaningful volunteer opportunity through training and disaster exercise participation to prepare for public health emergencies.


Who Can Volunteer for the Medical Reserve Corps?

  • Practicing, retired, or otherwise employed medical professionals, such as doctors, nurses, emergency medical technicians, pharmacists, nurses' assistants, and others.
  • Any community member without medical training can assist with administrative and other essential support functions.
